Is water wet?
A new poll found that 77 percent of small business owners think big businesses have a significant impact on government decisions and the political process.
Only 24 percent this small businesses have the same influence, according to the poll, which was conducted for Small Business Majority, a Democratic-leaning advocacy organization, by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research, a Democratic polling firm.
The poll found that 85 percent think political campaigns should be financed only by small contributions from voters and a limited amount of public funds. Plus, 93 percent favor requiring special interest groups that run political ads during campaigns to disclose the sources of their money.
