wouldn't describe it

Did you watch the video? That's also what I thought of Eric Cantor, so maybe we can get McConnell out of there because he is easily just as reprehensible.

then quit in a childish fit of pique, abandoning his constituents because he didn't get what he wanted.

Wait - I offended some children. What I meant to say was that he quit in a Teabagger fit of pique.

12. Cantor lost because.....
Mon Nov 3, 2014, 08:51 PM
Nov 2014

Because Virginia has open primaries and democrats voted for Brat....in order to get rid of Cantor. For years dems ran someone against Cantor and could never win because he had so much money and power. They wanted an even playing field...so that a dem candidate would stand a change.

I hope that taking down someone as powerful as Cantor, gave Brat a false sense of security.

Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm hitting the sheets early tonight to be up tomorrow night. Great timing on setting the clocks back.

So we got rid of Cantor - Great!

We are going to get Brat as his replacement. Trammell is so far behind in the race they aren't even bothering to take polls.

So we got rid of one dbag, and replaced him with another. All those who jumped party to vote against him accomplished was to get rid of a republican, and replace hime with a tea nazi.

I don't get it.

Yeah, he was the aforementioned dbag, but Brat is a Teabagging religious whacko.

DU can be a goofy place.

So the manager of the asshole store is gone. WHEEE!

He isn't being replaced with a progressive. We didn't change anything except that you didn't like the guy.

Congrats.

Democrats crossed party lines and primaried him.

"We" voted for another republican, Brat. Brat is poised to take Cantor's seat. The Democrat is so far behind they stopped bothering with polls.

That's not a win.

I'll stick to politics in my own state, instead of being ignorant and chirping at you when I didn't understand the underlying consequences.

Still, hope springs eternal that a Dem could win there .

cantor was the first sitting House majority leader to lose a primary since the position was created in 1899. his loss at the primary was described by the los angeles times as "one of the greatest political upsets of modern times."

the new teabagging asshole won't have a shred of the power cantor had....victory.
