Game Over.
Maybe next time, she'll campaign with the sitting President of the United States.

(3,826 posts)She could have hammered the turtle every day with the KY exchange and noted that he voted against, was still against and would take it away if he could.
Among other things. She deserved to lose and her advisors should never work again. Period.

(6,385 posts)...the sense locally was that the decision to not reveal her 2012 presidential vote tarnished her credibility. She was running as a "straight shooter" and winning that battle. When asked a question that should have had an obvious answer, she played politics with it. A lot of friends in the Northern Kentucky got nervous from that.
The general sense became "Yeah - Mitch is an asshat...but he's our asshat."

(7,769 posts)Someone must have advised her not to answer about how she voted.
The next natural question (if she said she voted for President Obama) would have been is she gonna campaign with the President.
How does she wiggle out of that one without looking even worse?
You voted for the President, but you don't want to campaign with him?
(Note, Republicans don't get those kinds of questions, of course)

(2,831 posts)all she had to do was reply '" The president will be with me in louisville and lexington" and get him there! A large african american population in those two cities which she HAD TO WIN BIG, in oreder to even this thing out. Instead they thought " why should we vote for you, when you wouldnt say you voted for our president?" I live in KY and know tons of people in louisville

(7,769 posts)I'm from Louisiana and Sen. Landrieu sickens me with her anti-Obama crap.
You wanna discourage folks from voting? Distance yourself from the person people piled their hopes and dreams into in 2008 and 2012.
