(2,779 posts)So freaking slow. I'm on DU on my phone and listening to the local news station. Results are trickling in. Right now in favor of Brown, but that's only 2% or so of the vote in.

(43,198 posts)A few of my Maryland friends were persuaded by Hogan, but thankfully most of the state recognizes him for the corruptable candidate that he is.
I'm more worried about my current state, Florida.

(2,779 posts)I live in Baltimore County, so turnout could be important here, though I expect it to be blue here, at least. I don't assume anything right now.

Populous areas are last. Too many votes to count. Some precincts allow voters standing in line to vote after the polls close. It may be later on tonight before we get official news

(2,779 posts)I went to my polling place around 6pm. There was a decent crowd there, but I only waited in line for maybe a few minutes. Not terribly busy there. Wbal is reporting some early voting results, but there don't seem to be a lot.
