(11,175 posts)In last year's primary he was my third-place choice (and even that was just a tie with the fourth candidate in the race).
I voted for him in the general elections last year and this time, but I would very strongly prefer not to see him on our national ticket.

(11,175 posts)Booker is still fully on board with the "reach across the aisle" approach that emphasizes getting things done -- what the things are doesn't matter as much.

I'm glad to see a Democrat announce his determination to fight. As the field on which to struggle, however, "fight to find common ground" isn't exactly what I had in mind.
