Why do we not record data about the general population in given areas and their tendencies. The fact that we eek by or lose every year is absurd. We have a better platform, WTF? There is no excuse for abnormalities in this day and age. If we can land a satellite on a moving comet why can't we master the election?
I think the drama is purposeful and I'm freaking tired of it.

(6,323 posts)This is not normal. I'm sure there are professionals out there with these figures but the lack of consensus is disturbing. We should have this information, decades ago.

(1,665 posts)True, but there's no reason we couldn't monitor even locally what worked and what didn't.
It'd be nice to point out that candidates that supported XY and Z in this area won/lost, and those that opposed XY and Z lost/won, etc.
This should be easy peasy for the party but no funds directed that way, why, or have they? There's some funk going on around here and I don't like it.
