The run up to this election appeared too close to call in many races. They say when the races are that close that it is a perfect climate to steal an election with funny stuff.
I'm sorry but I still can't believe Scott Walker won re-election or Rick Scott won or that Mitch McConnell won - as well as a whole host of other races. I'm listening to some of the analysis that the MSM is doing and can't believe that women, black's and latino's have turned their back on President Obama. He and the Dems are their only hope.
I don't watch Fox News - but I was wondering if KKKarl has shown up and exhibited some gloating? He was pretty well discredited when Romney didn't beat Obama. He had to prove himself again and I'm wondering if besides the voter suppression that was going on around the country - if KKKarl has his hand in any funny business.
I expect to see more of him now and maybe even taking some bows. Any thoughts?

(25,270 posts)The Rethugs are on the wrong side of most every major issue. They had/have no plan to take this country forward in any constructive way. Yet we're buying the analysis this morning that the MSM is feeding us. It's Obama's fault. I'm sorry - no sale for me.

(3,030 posts)but I do think negative campaigning backfires: it puts the wrong name forward.

(9,951 posts)but for the most part, it was a lack of proper calibration, in GA, a few reports of the Dem vote being flipped to the Repub, in IL, it was opposite, a Repub vote being flipped to a Dem.
Those machines were taken out of service as soon as the problem was reported.
The plain simple fact is that our message didn't resound with the American public and we took a shellacking last night.

(1,850 posts)But Walker and McConnell won decisively. I don't think there is any way that such massive fraud wouldn't have been way too obvious.

(1,916 posts)There are too many wins when the races were considered too close to call. And then, of course, there are all of the voter suppression efforts. I'd like to see an analysis of that, especially in states like Texas where there were so many people shut out by the new voter ID law.

(25,270 posts)women and black voters and make it look like they turned against the President. Those would be the votes I'd steal. It can't get more demoralizing than that.
