Internet as a utility on local RW call in show

The host, oddly, was in favor of the internet being classified as a utility saying that many people consider it a utility like electricity or the phone in you house.

Caller 1 - I agree with the President on this one and I don't usually agree with him on anything. My only concern is this it will be subsidized and some people will get it for free.

Caller 2 - (to the host) What right do you have to tell people how to run their business?

If some of my monthly fee goes to the poor, so be it. As long as they don't screw with it. I am happy to do it.
