Look what's happening in MISSISSIPPI~

PHOTOS: HRC TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE IN MISSISSIPPI TO LAUNCH ALL GOD’S CHILDREN

Today at a press conference in Mississippi HRC will officially unveil the first-ever LGBT public education campaign in the Deep South.

HRC Project One America Director Brad Clark and HRC Mississippi Faith Organizer Rev. Dr. Denise Donnell joined State Rep. Jim Evans, State Rep. Alyce Clarke and Mary Jane Kenned, who is featured in the first ad in the series, at the capitol this morning for the event.

All God’s Children is built around four consecutive weeks of television ads in the Magnolia State, which will be further amplified through robust direct mail, phone banking operations, telephone town halls, billboards, online advertising and conversations taking place door-to-door.

To celebrate today’s historic event, photographer James Paterson is taking over HRC’s Instagram.

However I must confess that when I started reading your OP, I thought HRC referred to Hillary. I had a few very confused moments, and couldn't decide if it was just a Monday issue or a senior moment.

Mondays, before a full mug of coffee can do that to you.

I guess, with 2016 coming up I will have to be more careful, brer cat.

Doesn't HRC know that trying to do anything in the South is a colossal waste of time and effort? That's why the Democratic party has ignored problems down there for years. It'll never do any good. No sense even trying. It's like that dumb Howard Dean and his stoopid 50-state strategy. Whatever became of that? Exactly! Just look how great Democrats have been doing since we shit-canned that idea and just let the brilliant campaign operatives in DC make all the decisions for where the party could be competitive.

The old ways are doomed, no matter how loud they still are. And a lot of closet liberals are feeling more secure. Slow but steady.
