Paypal required?

I've been trying to use my VISA to contribute to DU to get my star which expired...Administrators are busy, I guess, and haven't replied.

But the form won't accept my info because it wants Paypal. I don't want to use Paypal. Had it a few years back, forgot the password, and never use it since I stopped Ebay.....

Do you have to join Paypal to contribute?

I will probably delete this post as soon as I get a few replies....

Thanks in advance....

But you don't have to log in to your own PayPal account. Just use their payment service.

I tried to pay using:

"Recurring Yearly Payment," but on closer look, it says "paypal required." So I kept getting Paypal..

But the next box said:

"One Time Payment"

I didn't even look at that, because I thought that it would be more than I cared to spend at this time. In closer reading, it said, "expires in one year. No paypal required."

So I checked Onetime Payment and it took me to the choices of using Paypal or not.

I find it baffling that Recurring Yearly Payment and One Time Payment are both for one year...

one time lets you change the amount every year, proactively.
