Do you think it is a good idea to take away tax breaks

corporations have been receiving for providing employee based health plans?

According to Gruber, it's the best thing since sliced bread.

Who the hell does he think is going to pay for this. Let me give you a clue. It's not the corporations.

It's not income if you spend it in certain places therefore not subject to tax


And you're right corporations do not pay taxes. Their customers do

Directly profiting insurance companies, leaving us with little market leverage.

People really have to start to understand that individual persons have very little leverage. The market is against us and certain economic principles people rely on are just not realistic when it comes to health insurance companies.

We don't take away from one to lift others. We work to lift all. I do believe this is the way they plan on paying for this. And I for one have a real problem with the privatization of it. If it were single payer, I'm on board.

If you can't see this as a step backward, for unions and workers, well....

Why in the world would anyone be for this?
