Please consider signing this petition to cancel TLC's "19 Kids and Counting".

https://www.change.org/p/the-learning-channel-end-lgbtq-fear-mongering-by-the-duggars

The Duggars live in my county, but not in the city of Fayetteville. Not only did Michelle do the 'robo-calls' mentioned, but she and Jim Bob gave the repeal effort $10,000 to put the ordinance up to a vote. That vote begins Dec. 2 and ends Dec. 9, 2014. They then donated another $10,000 to get 'their' candidate elected to our city council and have supported another anti-ordinance guy with a $4,000 contribution. The later is now in a run-off for that seat. So, it's possible we will have 2 Duggar puppets out of 8 on our city council.

Please consider signing.

MSNBC played the actual robocall tonight, and that is exactly what she said, along with some other typical wingnut bullshit and lies.

That being said, while I cannot stand this Stepford family and their stupid show, I have a simple solution. I just don't watch it. No one is forced to watch it. If you don't like it, you don't have to watch it, there are tons of other stations and programs. We're always complaining about the RW trying to censor whatever they don't like, let's not do he same thing here.

I don't know what "transcript" you're listening to, but the call played by MSNBC had her saying exactly that, these transgenders "with past child predator conviction" (direct fucking quote) and the like. Not sure why you're so insistent that she didn't say it when the evidence is very clear that she did. I find that very interesting indeed.

you mean the fact of the actual recording of one of her calls where she said, directly, that these transgenders "with past child predator convictions" (EXACT FUCKING QUOTE). It's a fact that it was both on the call and the transcript. I have no idea why you're so bent on defending her against that when the facts and evidence couldn't be clearer. YOU are the one choosing not to believe actual facts.

Hello, this is Michelle Duggar. I’m calling to inform you of some shocking news that would affect the safety of Northwest Arkansas women and children. The Fayetteville City Council is voting on an ordinance this Tuesday night that would allow men – yes, I said men – to use women's and girls' restrooms, locker rooms, showers, sleeping areas and other areas that are designated for females only. I don’t believe the citizens of Fayetteville would want males with past child predator convictions that claim they are female to have a legal right to enter private areas that are reserved for women and girls. I doubt that Fayetteville parents would stand for a law that would endanger their daughters or allow them to be traumatized by a man joining them in their private space. We should never place the preference of an adult over the safety and innocence of a child. Parents, who do you want undressing next to your daughter at the public swimming pool’s private changing area?

Personally I don't see where she claims that transexuals are sexual predators. Am I not reading between the lines enough?

I doubt anyone wants any "past child predators" to come in contact with kids, but that has nothing to do with transgendered, or as she says "males...that claim they are females".

Giving protections to glbt has nothing to do with child predation like she is saying.

IMO that would have been the same as petitioning to have Queer Eye taken off the air because they were gay.

A person's politics should be considered in relation to their employment only in very limited circumstances.

Look I will admit 19 Kids and Counting is my guilty pleasure. When I first became aware of the family (when #16 was born, I wrote a MySpace blog about how the parents need to spayed or neutered). They're the train wreck I can't help but watch as well as a fascinating case study on Republicans (he ran for US senate in 2002).

I will admit that if I ever had video editing skills, I'd do a parody intro and call the show 19 cats and counting about a crazy cat lady.

The only reason TLC seems to cancel shows is when they go down in scandal. I predict the oldest son (who works for a hate group) will be caught in a gay sex scandal (as many anti-gay politicians are) that will bring the show down.
