Keith Olbermann Roasts Liar Bill OReilly Like The Good Old Days (VIDEO)

Since leaving MSNBC, Keith Olbermann hasnt had many opportunities to spar with his former nemesis, Bill OReilly. But during his ESPN program on Wednesday night, he finally got one, and it was a shot heard round the sports world.
OReilly voluntarily put himself into Olbermanns domain by joining ESPN radio host Dan Le Batard for an interview. Upon being questioned about the accuracy of his claimed athletic prowess, OReilly stormed off the show rather than admit being the liar that he is. Keith Olbermann, however, had absolutely no problem fact-checking OReilly and promptly named the Fox host as the Worlds Worst Person In The Sports World.
Ohhhh! Hes back! Olbermann declared. This is fun. This brings back memories. Ill stick to his stories about sports and how great he was and how all his teams in high school and college were virtually undefeated.
Olbermann briefly brought up the fact that OReilly didnt play varsity football during his time at Marist College because in reality, Marist didnt establish a varsity team until seven years after OReilly had already graduated. It was an OReilly claim that Olbermann first debunked in 2005, making it even sweeter that Le Batard brought it up again. I still own your head, Bill, Olbermann said with a smile.
But that wasnt the main reason why Olbermann awarded OReilly the Worst Person title. During the radio interview, OReilly made a dubious claim that he was asked to try out for the New York Mets during his senior year at Marist in 1970-71. OReilly, a lifelong Mets fan, claimed that during his tryout, a 510 rookie pitcher named Tom Seaver killed OReillys chance at a big league career by throwing twice as hard as me. Theres just one problem with OReillys story. Not one word of it is true, and Olbermann threw the book at him for it.

(16,296 posts)in that mix , O'Really's war experiences and how he covered four wars with his pen, which he compares to real military service.
O'Really does live in a fantasy world where he was a star on the gridiron, a possible Hall of Farmer, and a John Wayne character leading the troops with his blazing pen.

(21,046 posts)I have no interest in sports, and wish he was back on MSNBC, but I sure enjoy looking at him.
Good-looking son of a bitch. And witty too.
Oh, and I do know who Tom Seaver is. One of the big names in baseball.
