Power and control and the heavy fist. gag. The peaceful protests will be clobbered. I am having a hard time with this. What would happen if all the military and all the police and all the control and all the power were removed? Let the peaceful protests happen? Let the people express themselves? What would happen if the law guys protected the protesters??!! argh. Unfortunately for the power guys, there will be demonstrations in other cities around the country. This massive control thing is exactly what get folk energized.

Unbelievable that even one person would vote to hide.

No matter what the decision from the GJ, I do believe, with this show of crowd control force in place & the 48 hr "heads up" warning,
the intention is to contain & disperse.

This is a usable resource to them, for future protests within our border.
I believe Ferguson is seen by the Police at local, State & Federal levels as useful drill practice for future crowd control in the matter of protests. Useful information will be gleaned for future use.
This is just my opinion as I view the bigger picture.

I am horrified & sad for the future generations who still believe in the power & right of protest.

Considering how the media was treated in the last Ferguson protest, I'd say they are prepared to limit media as much as possible.

I don't doubt that Ferguson PD & State Gov't want this to disappear. Move on, nothing here to see or discuss.
