except for a pitied few progressive liberals, and those bums are just as bad as the coloreds. And the victims, of course, but they don't count.

Americans are philosophically Fadists. When left-leaning Actor/Celebrities were more fashionable than skeevy politicians, they were horrified by the plight of those poor "People-of-Color". Now that Politicians are "sexy", especially radical-right politicians, it's all about those Shifty Darkies and Job-Stealing Mesican(sic) Drug-Pushers and the Disease-Ridden Homos.

Face it, our white "Independent" fellow countrymen are intellectually lazy, morally flexible, and honor-challenged; thus, they are predictable and easily led. Since a large percentage of politicians are manipulative sociopaths, they are most willing to take advantage of those conditions.

The fate of this nation is, and always has been, in the hands of chronic gossipers. Control the gossip, control the election.

Politics isn't nearly as complex as is let on, you just have to be honest in order to understand it

To my LGBT friends, I'm very glad you're getting marital rights, but that's a political bargain-chip just like Desegregation and Affirmative Action were in the '60s and '70s. Ask the Brothers and Sisters how that's working out now. Gay marriage is what they give up to retain minimum wage and non-meaningful immigration reform and to abolish unions.

I mostly vote in protest and to spite our aristocrats-w/o-titles.

So this mouthbreather Varvel thinks brown people will be coming to steal his bland, antibiotic-infused turkey and his GMO dinner rolls?

( Quite the spread there, Varvel. You people eat anything green? Peas? Beans? Not Broccoli, of course, even I know racists don't touch that healthy stuff....)

Sorry to break it to you, Varvel, but they'll be cooking far better food on Thanksgiving, even in a sharecroppers hovel, than that "feast" you've scrawled out there with your FoxNoos Official Master Race Crayon Set.

What a TOOL.

they edited out the moustache and kept the cartoon. Because that's what was offensive about it

Indianapolis newspaper alters, then deletes racist Thanksgiving cartoon following complaints

Responding to criticism that a cartoon depicting undocumented immigrants coming through a window to share Thanksgiving dinner with a white family was racist, an Indiana newspaper edited out the stereotyped housebreaker’s mustache, ostensibly to make the cartoon seem less racist.

Nov 2014

The cartoon has been retracted http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/indy-star-erred-in-publishing-immigrant-thanksgiving-cartoon

The Indianapolis Star on Saturday said it "erred" in publishing a cartoon that depicted undocumented immigrants crashing a white family's Thanksgiving dinner.

The cartoon by Gary Varvel showed the white family's patriarch holding a turkey at the head of the table and saying "Thanks to the President's immigration order, we'll be having extra guests this Thanksgiving." A man in a mustache and two others are shown climbing into the family's dining room through a window.

The cartoon was in bad taste and the paper was called out on it.
