What Good Is An Unused Gun?

The gun store in Ferguson could not keep their guns in stock.

There are an awful lot of guns sitting, waiting to be used. They did not just disappear after being sold by the gun store.

Add in the military sized buildup by the cops, and you have a potential powder keg.

Of course, you can believe that all the sales were just to people worried for their own safety, instead of those who wish to incite something.

With regard to self-defense, a gun is an object with a purpose that you pray to God you never have to use. That does not mean it is not fit for its intended purpose.

Also, how does a gun sitting in a drawer, night stand or lock box, incite anything?

Some of those gun sales were to people who hope they have a chance to use them.

With no indictment, they may get what they wish for.

All it will take is a couple of angry gun holders to start something.

didn't purchase them last week and they probably weren't purchased from a store. It's more likely they came from a gun show and more recently their basement or their militias arsenal. It wouldn't take a gun to get the party started. With tensions as high as they are now, one firecracker or one car backfiring and trigger fingers are going to twitch.

Having all this available health insurance is going to make things worse too because now people know that can get medical attention if they get hurt in a riot.

They stated
": When we commissioned the Schmectel Corporation to research this precise event sequence scenario, it was determined that the continual stockpiling and development of our nuclear arsenal was becoming self-defeating. A weapon unused is a useless weapon."
