from Wikipedia....".Gentleman's Agreement is a 1947 drama film about a journalist (played by Gregory Peck) who goes undercover as a Jew to conduct research for an exposé on antisemitism in New York City and the affluent community of Darien, Connecticut. It was nominated for eight Oscars and won three: Best Picture, Best Supporting Actress (Celeste Holm), and Best Director (Elia Kazan)."
Watching the main character struggle with anti semetic behavior, in post war New York, it impacts his life, his job, and almost all of his relationships, intimate and the more general in society. Kind of reminds me of racism.
