F' the family, there's TV to be watched!

I am cruising DU with the TV on in the background. A commercial for my cable provider (Time-Warner Cable) came on. The premise: Mom/wife comes into family room where dad and son are playing in a blanket fort. Dad pops up acting like a dragon and mom looks at him like he's stupid and annoyed that the family room is being wasted on stupid shit like father's playing with sons in blanket fort and she can't watch the damn TV!

Then she picks up a tablet from a chair and goes away to another room, curls up, and pulls up some stupid TV shit on the tablet using TWC's mobile app, now smiling and happy.

SMFH. Our society is sick in so many ways.
