The Arab Spring: current tally

Egypt: full circle, military back in power, Mubarak to be released.
Lybia: traded in despotic secular dictator for tribal/sectarian/chaos - failed state.
Tunisia: hanging on to a secular democracy, but just barely.
Syria: total fucking disaster that makes a despotic secular dictator seem like the best of all possible worlds.
Yemen: in this situation we loves us a despotic dictator. Why is that?
Bahrain: see Yemen.

All in all this has been a roaring success.
