Whatever side of the fence you might be on in the Michael Brown saga, cheapening it down to the level of a slogan or an avatar is DEPLORABLE.

You should be ASHAMED of this post and you found a fast track onto my ignore list.

Michael Brown pleaded with his murderer to spare his life. He lifted his hands in a gesture of surrender. If this is not a symbol of the struggle for equal rights, I don't know what is.

It has become an international symbol of solidarity and to end police brutality.

Your statement cheapens a movement started in a small, Missouri town that has transcended international lines, race and even political beliefs.

We use emoticons for peace, for power, for solidarity. Hands up don't shoot as an emoticon is not cheapening anything

Found a bunch. But none were acceptable. I was asked to find more and someone helped make some. Haven't had time to submit those.

If you need help looking for one, I will be happy to try.

I'm not jumping on the bandwagon of ignoring the evidence. What a shame that everyone else is. That's rather a rightwinger attitude believing what one wants rather than what is.

At one point, Officer Wilson tells the grand jury that Brown, after the altercation and initial shots, “had the most intense aggressive face. The only way I can describe it, it looks like a demon, that’s how angry he looked. He comes back towards me again with his hands up.”

Should we assume he's lying?

and if you think that Wilson meant up over his head in surrender than you have cheese between your ears. Many other witnesses said that he had his arms out away from his sides but as a result of either being shot or that he was examining his own body trying to determine if or where he was shot or up near his chest in a running posture and/or balled into fists, but they all agree they were not up above his head in surrender and that he never surrendered.

I don't give a rat's ass what the media has to say as they've twisted this case every which way but truthfully from the beginning. Go read the actual testimonies of the witnesses. I'm sick and tired of having to implore anyone to do that, and it's obvious why all that documentation is being ignored here. I never had an opinion about what occurred one way or the other and said that every single time because there wasn't any EVIDENCE yet to make that decision. Fat load of good it did here.

And now that the evidence IS out not even the media is paying one bit of attention to it. And of course no one is here either. It rather sucks to have to admit that according to the evidence Brown did attack Wilson, didn't have his arms up in surrender, wasn't on his knees and wasn't shot at close range in cold blood but continued to move toward Wilson after being told to stop multiple times. That there were even civilian witnesses imploring him to stop but he didn't. That Johnson perjured himself and for whatever reason made up a story of what happened that was far from the truth, that didn't match forensics or as far as I've read so far over nine witnesses detail many of them claiming that Johnson wasn't even THERE. That during the altercation at the police car he was a distance away standing next to a tree and that after the first shot in the car ran to the white Monte Carlo, got into the passenger seat and that car immediately left at speed. That he returned to the scene sometime later long after Brown was dead with a girl.

You pick and chose SOE witnesses, ignore others and say if I do the same I have cheese between my ears and am rwinger. And you ignore Wilson's saying brown had his hands up.

Johnson wasn't there and Brown was dead with a girl? Wtf. Done with you.

Better yet, read the transcripts. If you did that, I wouldn't have to tell you anything. Fat chance anyone here is going to actually look at the evidence. So much better to use the dumbass excuse of "I'm not going to listen to anything you say, blah, blah".

It's obvious why no one here is actually looking at the evidence. Biased and agenda driven people never needed or wanted any evidence in the first place, and now that it's public any port in a storm to ignore it.

How ludicrous to ignore evidence to begin with. Yet that's just what everyone here has been doing. No wonder now that there's reams of evidence out in the public to peruse no one wants to look at it and just pretend it's not there. Then all these people would have to admit they were wrong. That they were completely duped by a lying asshole that made an epic fool of himself with a ridiculous story he pulled out of his butt when he wasn't even THERE to witness what happened.

As for insults... take a look at the insults I'VE gotten here from the beginning and continue to get for merely suggesting that people wait to find out the evidence and to look at it now that we have it. Cripes, you'd think I was asking people to eat their own excrement.

I knew you would find some way of to not even acknowledge those transcripts much less read them. Didn't think it would be nearly this hilariously absurd though.

So, answer just one simple question - why are you not looking at the actual evidence? Why are you falling all over yourself to ignore all those reams of testimony and forensic evidence?
