Mo. lawmakers pre-file Ferguson-related bills

Sens. Jamilah Nasheed, D-St. Louis, and Maria Chappelle-Nadal, D-University City, filed bills Monday meant to clear up that wording for both police officers and the general public. The session starts Jan. 7, but Monday was the first day to pre-file bills. At least four lawmakers filed bills in response to the events in Ferguson.

Under current Missouri law, officers can use deadly when they believe it is "immediately necessary" or if there is a reasonable belief that the person committed or tried to commit a felony, is trying to escape by using a deadly weapon or could endanger life or inflict injury unless they're arrested.

His incredulous version of events by reading current law as a checklist...

Committed a Felony - check , I heard it on the police radio (even tho I didn't )
Escape using a deadly weapon - check , he tried to shoot me with my own gun ( even tho he didn't)
Could endanger life...unless arrested - check , he was a monstrous demon, ( even tho he wasn't)
