THIS IS AN ACCOUNTING OF WHAT HAPPENED TO ME THIS AM - ABSOLUTELY UNBELIEVABLE. I WOULD LIKE TO SAY WHAT THEY CAN DO WITH THEMSELVES BUT I WILL NOT. IF ANYONE CAN THINK OF WHO I CAN WRITE TO, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANK YOU.
I DEMAND A REVIEW OF THE TAPES - - ALL OF
THESE FACTS WILL ALL BE COOBERATED:
I called the Washington, D.C.
non-emergency number at (202) 673-6815
approximately 11:20AM on 12/6/14. I first
spoke with Officer Watts and asked him if
I spit in the street in front of the the
Police during the 12/13/14 March on
Washington in memory of Eric Garner, would
I be arrested. He told me it was illegal
to spit ON anyone and I replied that I was
aware of this, but I was not sure if I
could spit on the street. I never thought
I would spit to make a point to anyone,
much less the Police. My Godfather was a
Vice Detective in New York City - a good,
fair and honest man until he retired after
35 years. Unfortunately these are
unbelievably disgusting times and if I
had this right as a United States citizen
I felt if I chose to, I was considering
it. I wanted to make a non-violent point and I felt that would be appropriate for the situation. This was to show my contempt for the Police and all of the recent deaths. He put me on hold and an Officer got on the phone and "barked" - "What is your question"? I like to keep records of whom I am speaking with (as I move forward in my narrative you will see why, as names are important to get - you never know where something is going to go). I asked whom I was speaking with again and he just ignored my question again and barked again - "WHAT IS YOUR QUESTION?". I knew I was not going to get
a name so I proposed the question. I know
all of the Officers were showing contempt
for ME, How dare I spit in front of them. Now I totally understand their hate for my question, but I have the right to ask it and get a polite answer.
This Officer did not hide his hate for my
question and said "If the wind is blowing
the wrong way, you may get arrested". I
said "I am sure I will not get arrested as
I am white". He did not care for that
response and I believe he hung up on me.
There were so many hang ups I could not
keep track on my scratch paper. I did not
mean to be a pest but did have one more
question that had been forgotten in the
unpleasant exchange with the "un-named"
Officer, so I called back. The time is
approximately 11:27AM at this point and I
believe an "Officer Devon" answered. I
honestly do not remember what was
said at this time, as my head was spinning
and I was starting to get aggravated by my
treatment. The call lasted seconds to
where the Officer said "Oh Shit" and hung
up on me. Okay, I now call back again at
approximately 11:28AM and get a female
Officer who, again, would not identify
herself. I really do not understand this.
If you are just answering general
questions, why would you withhold your
name? Are these Officers not supposed to
provide their names when asked? If you
are following the regulations, why NOT
provide your name? I asked for the
Sergeant or Lieutenant's phone number or a
transfer and she asked why. I told her I
was treated disrespectfully and cursed at
and she said I was "fibbing - that she was
sitting right there and the Officer did
not say that". Now apparently I am a
liar. I told her "I am not 12 years old
and I am not Black, Lady, so you are not
going to push me around". She tells me to
hold and there I hold for about 4 minutes.
They are getting good at this now,
probably hoping I'll just go disappear
into the suburbs and continue my Saturday.
Now all of the Officers answering phones
there are aware of all of the exchanges
and it obvious we have a conspiracy going
on.
I call back and Officer Watts answers again. I ask for the
Sergeant or Lieutenant's phone number or a
transfer. I explained what had happened
and he identified the second Officer that
would not give me his name as a possible
Officer Lomax. He said "Well you found
our number, you can find theirs". I said
"You have done nothing wrong so far and
have been crossed off of my complaint.
This is going to the Attorney General, The
Department of Justice and the White House,
along with the news outlets. I suggest
that you give me the number". He gives me
(202) 673-9319 and I thanked him. When I
call that number, the lady that answered said that I
had reached The Department of Behavioral
Health (Psychiatric Department) lol. So
he is now included in this complaint. I
explicitly asked for the Sergeant or
Lieutenant's phone number or a transfer
and Officer Watts fully understood this.
How dare he give me a bogus number - what
is wrong with these people. I am sure
they swat spit with someone else on a
regular basis - I never realized spit on a
street was suddenly SO offensive. The
tape will show this, not that it matters.
I am sure the Commander, Sergeants or
Lieutenants will not care - but they will
be inconvenienced and possibly something
will be done by someone once I get through
with my barrage of emails - and I am
writing to EVERYONE - DEMANDING an answer
as to why I was treated the way I was AND DEMANDING
a formal apology in writing.
Now I find another number to call - (202)
698-0555 at approximately 11:58. So all
of this has been going on for over a half
hour. The Officer did not identify
himself that I could make out and I just
gave up asking for names, as I knew I was
not going to get them. He made a HUGE
deal about the spit question (they
are probably all in the same room and they are all indignant by this point, especially since I will not back down) and he
proceeds to go on and on, speaking to me
like I was a 2 year old. He just kept up
about the spit - I said "My previous
question was about the spit, my question
now is about speaking to someone in
charge". He said "What you have to do is
speak to your Senator". I responded "I
demand to speak to a Supervisor and AGAIN
I get hung up on.
NEVER was I rude, using foul language,
yelling or acting disrespectfully until
all of their shenanigans. Then I did
raise my voice and bring up the recent
revolting actions by the Police and the fact that I was not going to be pushed around or drop the matter.
I just left a message for Commander
Dierdre N. Porter, who it looks like is
top person in charge. I then went down
the line and called about 8 numbers of
Sergeants and Lieutenants, but apparently
in Washington they get to enjoy their
weekends off while their Police Officers
not only disgrace their own Badges but
all Law Enforcement Badges with their actions.
So far I have thought of 8 sources to send
this to and I will keep looking. I DEMAND
AN ANSWER TO WHY I WAS NOT PROVIDED WITH
NAMES, WHY I WAS GIVEN INCORRECT PHONE
NUMBERS, WHY I WAS CALLED A LIAR, WHY I
WAS PLACED ON HOLD TO NOWHERE, WHY THE
OFFICER CURSED WHILE ON THE LINE WITH ME
ON AND ON AND ON WHEN I WAS JUST ASKING QUESTIONS AS A UNITED STATES CITIZEN!
Trust this will not be let go.
