1. I walked right through one near the tree lighting

There was a crowd of around 150 moving fast down a street in the low 50's near the tree. They were chanting "this is what democracy looks like", "I can't breath", and "no justice, no peace." Traffic was a giant mess.

Good. Maddow had/has a great show tonight, showing how NYC has been protesting, but non-violently. I sincerely hope that holds, because that would shut the pieholes who glorify violence.
