It's pretty risky for him to come out and claim that he was working undercover for the Feds when he acted like an asshole RWNJ. They could easily disprove his claims and even go after him, so what's in it for him? Feds usually use bait when they're investigating hard-to-find criminals like pedophiles and heads of gang members, so it stands to reason they'd use people as bait for homegrown terrorists and White supremacists who are adept at hiding.

Also, he was fired. That rarely happens if they're caught if they're genuine.

Just my two cents.
