Why no bang bang in the back? Clearly he is off his rocker and could hurt people. I wonder what makes him different?

at stopping him once he got up. Perhaps they were mesmerized by the poetic tongue lashing he gave them? Or perhaps they didn't perceive him as a threat because he was so pale?
