Of programs and local governments than elections, as elections often are just kabuki theater.
If you are really pissed about things in your county and state try and get an audit. Find out who gets the money and where it comes from.
Here in California, we are being told that no one knows what to do about fracking interests. Hmm, I wonder how much money the "clean energy, natural gas" interests are throwing into the campaign coffers of our officials.
In Idaho, polluters have allowed selenium to destroy so many water ways. Why? Whose money has bought which of the politicians?
