Anybody else noticing a new meme from the ruling class........

The use of "explosives" by protestors against police. In the headline. When you read the article it talks about firecrackers. Some explosives! I've seen this about three different places in the last couple of days.

Then you can bring in Homeland Srcurity, the NSA - abandon all semblance of civil rights.

It's also old-fashioned media spin from the War Room: Terrorism is a narrative that the mainstream media will gobble up - it sells. No one will run a counter-narrative, especially if it's boring. Terrorism pwns all in reporting.

CNN made this flub last night, and I haven't seen an apology or correction. They claim protesters threw "explosives" at the CHP. Evidence, please? The live bloger for the local news web site, who was taking video and feporting all violent activity, didn't see or even hear of these explosives. I saw no other mention in tweets, videos, and other live reports. I call BS.

One thing is for sure - the helicopters circling are eager to catch some explosions at Berkeley's expense...

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]Criminalization and depersonalization come first to make the next steps more acceptable.

Then the control nets (literal and figurative) will be cast much wider and close much faster.

Durham police find explosive device near area of protests

They described a Molotov cocktail bottle as an "explosive" and an "undetonated device".

Are they trying to pave way to normalize using lethal force on protesters?

were labeled "terrorists," in WW2. Its an easy way to demonize anyone. Looks like we might have the same type of government today. Anybody who resists their illegal efforts is simply labeled a "terrorist."

Firecracker have been getting called "explosive incendiary devices" at protests against that occupation for several years now. The term seems to have migrated.

There were the dreaded "anarchists". Yeah, the eight-hour day was just going to destroy the country.

"Gentlemen of the jury, convict these men. Make examples of them. Hang them, and you save our society." -- Prosecutor, Haymarket trial, 1886.
