Masterful

The President's ratings must be going crazy going up and down and all around...he seems to be creating a new news cycle every day. I can barely remember 2 days' ago news when all the talk was about the Keystone Pipeline for a day, then TPP for only a day, then it changed to shutting down the government, the ACA being discussed in Congress, Hagel goes, then shows up in Afghanistan and somebody somewhere noticed we have only one screwdriver for a bunch of missiles delivered masterfully by FedEx. And now surprise, surprise, torture people not to be persecuted, but didn't we know about this stuff a couple of years ago when they had some young kids putting dog collars on prisoners, etc.

The Pres takes over the Colbert show, after he does an immigration executive order. Everytime I put on the Teevee he's doin' somethin' and he looks happy, and he looks sincere.

Before anybody gets a chance to really criticize him, he changes the subject. That's why he's president and Colbert has a talk show..

My own theory about Hagel is that his ties to the GOP were too close to break and he was having conversations with John McCain...I remember McCain demanding to see everything on Hagel and wants to see his private files. We all know from watching Television, the great teacher, that an attorney never asks a question in court unless he already knows the answer - the same goes for asking disclosure of Hagel's files. Hagel probably told him everything there was to know. Must be some reason why McCain already knows everything and want to say, "See, I told ya."


But no matter what they find in the files, the subject will change in less than 24 hours, so don't waste your time, John.
