NBA Star John Wall Breaks Down In Tears After Letting A Five Year Old Into His Heart (Video)

John Wall decided to take advantage of his rising status as a star in the National Basketball Association.

Wall was not looking for a pat on the back or to burnish a tarnished image caused by some recent indiscretion, nor was he seeking a new product to endorse to make more money. He was just a good guy doing a good deed.

Departing from the image of the self-indulgent individual often associated with rich athletes, the Washington Wizard’s point guard helped to orchestrate a little girl’s wish: help 5 year old Damiyah Telemaque-Nelson, meet Nicki Minaj and, if possible, get one of the artist’s trademark pink wigs.

‘Miyah’ was special. She was diagnosed a little over a year ago with a form of cancer known as Burkitt’s lymphoma. And she had a wish.

So with the help of a 15 second video that Wall shot with Miyah and the power of social media, her wish was granted. Miyah got her pink wig.
