We cannot surrender on this issue. The press cannot surrender.

We cannot let those that support torture win the day. We cannot surrender our souls to these devils without a conscience.

We must respond to all those that argue for the necessity of torture in fighting the war on terror and those that would behead Americans.

If we cannot win this battle, we have lost the war. We have lost our country.

The President cannot change the minds of those that support torture. The Justice Dept cannot change their minds. Prosecutions cannot change their minds, so long as we have people in government preaching the benefits of torture and how it saved American lives. That is the big lie.

It is the job of the free press to educate the people and to inform them of the facts. They cannot report for one day and then forget about it. They must continue to report it until every person in this country has searched their conscience for the truth. This is not a matter for Party politics.
