(25,253 posts)I walked by the TV this a.m. My girlfriend was watching the View. Some blond on the program was saying the same thing - the report was put together by the Dems and she said it doesn't have credibility. They must have been up all night coming up with the Repug talking points and emailing them out to all of their talking heads.
Watch for other Repugs saying the same thing.

(23,958 posts)i was wondering what talking point they'd come up with to whitewash this thing. i mean, it's a tough one from a PR perspective -- you don't want to put your spokesmen in the position of trying to make a lengthy apologetic for torture. That means the whole thing has to be discredited in as few words as possible.
24 hours later, they do not disappoint: "it's from Democrats, so ignore it"
It's almost as if Karen Hughes is writing the stuff again.
