A 32-year-old woman was cited for child neglect and marijuana possession late Tuesday after Omaha police found her and her three young children sleeping in a car.
Police said the mother and her children, all under the age of 5, were found about 11:30 p.m. at 6420 Maple St. when officers followed up on a child-neglect call.
The woman told officers, who also found an e-cigarette containing pot in the car, that she had been kicked out of her mothers house and she didnt have a place to stay, police said.

that they needed to look into this issue. It is very cold this time of year in your area. I would not want to be homeless in a car let alone with three children.
They need to forget the idiot pot issue and get social services to help her fine housing and get set up to take care of her own children without her so called mother. That would be a grandmother - right?
This is the social worker in me talking.
