The GOP Is Trying To Screw Up The Entire Planet.

It is not bad enough that the GOP wants to inflict extreme austerity on the US and run up the debt. They and their billionaire allies are working on screwing up all of Europe as well. Their little RW minions have tentacles in Europe in case anyone has noticed. It is debt and austerity everywhere and for everyone except the 1% in the US and elsewhere.

The crazy killer in Norway who killed all those socialists supposedly had been to meetings at a Koch sponsored RW organization there. I guess the world is not enough for the GOP. They just won't be happy until everyone is miserable and we have a Christian planet. The Reich wing religious crazies are even protesting homosexuals in Britain.

I know this post sounds over the top, but if you follow the news in other countries and watch all these RW prime ministers they are selling the same "tinkle down" economics now.

Here is one example. The Canadian PM just pushed a tax reduction through for Canada's 1%. The Dutch are in austerity talks. Sarkozy is after the French safety net and the 35 hour week and pensions and unions. GB is in a great austerity push on pensions. Spain is in austerity mode. They have a RW PM. Europe did not fail. Our business community and our banks with phony paper pushed them over the edge.

Did not Romney just say that Obama would make us just like Greece. Thanks Goldman Sacks for tanking Greece.

In the past the GOP has been saying that Obama will make us socialist just like Europe. Now the GOP is saying that Obama will make us just like debt ridden Europe with austerity. And the GOP Ryan plan is austerity on super steroids. They are nuts nuts nuts nuts. They are demented and out of their Fri---n minds!

Back the influence of such people go. We know that the Bush family has a long history as well. And many of these folks are related to each other.

As George Carlin said, 'They've got a club and you ain't in it.' There is no coincidence when this much money is in the hands of a few. They can get the smartest people out of the universities to give them answers to things that most of us do not know.

You mention how these actions in Europe are now mirroring what we have been seeing here. It's true, and it's very amazing. I never thought I would see Britain going backward on social issues. I think they are surprised at what is happening. The regular people, they did not ask for an extremist government, or at least none of them I've conversed with have said they wanted it.

The Koch brothers are either related by family or else just by the businesses they own, with so many other firms across the globe. Naturally, the oil and gas business are international affairs. We have seen all these trade agreements coming around. I think that our governments are almost powerless against the kind of wealth we are talking about here.

In other words, I suspect that the Koch and GOP, first with their US Chamber of Commerce which is about foreign trade, have friends over the world and are putting something into place like ALEC. It doesn't really matter what its name is. It's what they are doing that is important. They are funneling up control to the 1%.

It's possible that this is a natural process in every nation. That is, that those who are doing well, and that is about money and not about morals, tend to accumulate control perhaps because they can't handle the rough and tumble many people adapt to so well.

Or it's more likely that with wealth, they have continuity in their families that most people under them have in their lives. More stability. More ability to plan and more ability to network. So they have done so. The royal families, we don't think about much. We think about our elections and people being temporarily in power. But when we look back on the aristocratic clans, they can trace back not just their lineage, but their holdings for many centuries.

While some have lost out over the millenia, some have not and they surely remember what worked for them. So they use it to continue. I don't pretend to understand the motivations of the Koch brothers and other groups we consider problematic for humanity and the planet as a whole. They're not going to give up, so we have to organize.

They have always known that we are many and they are few and they have done everything they can to hold us down and out of their way. Our greatest strength is also our greatest weakness, that is, our differences. I'm not sure what it's going to take to unite so many people that they will have to give into us. But if we can't unite, we are going to fare very badly.

I wonder what list of things you think that Americans, since we are here, will work for common ground against our foe in these groups. How to unite ourselves and stop fighting. When we fight among each other, they will always win.
