How Many Ways Can Goldman Give? A guide to funneling cash to Clinton

This article appeared in the December 15-22, 2014 edition of The Nation.

See? I dated it!.........LOL

Hillary Clinton is leaving nothing to chance, and neither is Goldman Sachs. Since her first Senate campaign in 1999, the firm has been bankrolling Clinton to the tune of millions. Individual donors like Goldman CEO Lloyd Blankfein have been generous, but the firm has sought to purchase influence and good will through more oblique channels: speaking fees as well as contributions to the nonprofit Clinton Foundation.

Of course, Goldman is not alone. Citigroup ranks No. 1 in lifetime donations to Clinton; Morgan Stanley is No. 6 and employs Clinton confidant Tom Nides.

Wall Streeters are ready for Hillary.
And after the Supreme Court’s 2010 Citizens United decision, it will be increasingly difficult to track their influence.

More on Hillary Clinton in this issue…

President Obama and his BFF Jamie Dimon maned the phones to get the Cromnibus Spending Bill passed.

How many Wall Street thieves did President Obama appoint ?

How many has his administration prosecuted ??

He said lobbyists would not be welcome in the White House.

He said he was going to review NAFTA.

Instead he signed 3 new Free Trade Deals; Panama, South Korea, and Panama.

He is trying to fast track the TPP.

Bill Moyers interviewed John R. MacArthur.

He has the inside scoop on the Bill and Hillary Clinton and President Obama.

It was a real eye opener.

The interview is available on the front page of DU.

I urge everyone to watch it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I especially urge those who support Hillary for president to watch it.

It needs to be spread far and wide.

If I were wealthy I would see that a copy was in every mailbox in the U.S.

It is the strongest voice we have. Where we put our money and efforts everyday. Those that serve corporate ends only strengthen the beast destroying not only our democracy but even our ability to count on a stable ecosystem. There is nobody invested in it that truly cares about the voiceless, only in increasing their personal wealth and the voice that corporations speak with.

-our new "Defense" secretary Ash Carter

Ashton Baldwin "Ash" Carter (born on September 24, 1954) is a physicist and United States Department of Defense official who was nominated by President Barack Obama on December 5, 2014 to replace Chuck Hagel as the United States Secretary of Defense.

He was deputy secretary of defense from October 2011 to December 2013, serving as the DOD’s chief operating officer overseeing more than $600 billion per year and 2.4 million civilian and military personnel, and managing global 24/7 operations. From April 2009 to October 2011, he was undersecretary of defense for acquisition, technology and logistics with responsibility for procurement of all technology, systems, services, and supplies, bases and infrastructure, energy and environment, and more than $50 billion annually in R&D.

Previously, Carter was a senior partner of Global Technology Partners focused on advising investment firms in technology and defense, and an advisor to Goldman Sachs on global affairs

What costs the taxpayers >$20 million dollars per hour?

The wars + homeland security
https://www.nationalpriorities.org/cost-of/

What are we seeing? The biggest ripoff in human history. And the victims haven't begun to complain

If I don't like "Ash" Carter, am I a Racist? If I don't agree that Goldman Sachs can loot the nation am I an "Anti Semite"?

Actually, make that everyone should read the constitution. It's a relatively short document and, while you have to do a little work and a little thinking because of the 18th Century language and over 20 amendments, it is the fucking Constitution, after all. It's really worth it.

I fall under the same deal. My father was American, my mother was Austrian and I was born in Austria, but I am an American citizen by birth.

Cruz's father was a Cuban living in Canada, his mother was an American.

I technically hold dual citizenship. Cruz technically can claim triple.
