RW Christians Don't Want Tax Money Benefitting LGBT And Other Undesirables.

The RW Christians have the same argument about tax money being used for abortions as they do tax money that might benefit LGBT individuals and other undesirables. If you really think about it they really are against gays and other undesirables having benefits that might come from tax dollars because these people's activities violate their conscience and religion. So contraceptive practices allows people to have sex out of wedlock without consequences and children accidentally born out side of wedlock must be condemned for the sins of their parents by being denied services that come from tax money Christians pay. And it goes on an on because their agenda is about controlling people's lives they do not agree with.

If you go to the "gut sense" of their opposition to domestic spending the logic will take you there. Look at the "conscience argument" and it is obvious how dangerous and misguided this meme is. The new Michigan law will unleash all sorts of mayhem. The most dangerous aspect of this deranged philosophy almost demands that a "person of conscience" even deny life saving techniques their religion disapproves of. So A Christian Scientist can even claim to defy common sense, public health and the law itself denying any medical service.

Of course, these same churches really are against paying taxes to a secular government. If we were a theocracy and they could control all the taxe dollars they might be open to paying taxes, but I doubt it.

We need to end church welfare that gives them benefits both ways.

now many seem desirous to operate as political and oppressive organizations violating the Constitution all over the place. Many are such negative influences in life. For eons religion has created wars, bigotry and never ending hatefulness. Religion is the the great divider of mankind. Why, should such a destructive force as religion be entitled to any tax break whatsoever. Many function as mega-corporations. God, Inc. Please send money NOW. What a crock.

Repugs in Congress salaries, and a lot of other things. Do I have the option of making that happen? OK, if I don't then neither do they!

and changed some titles and such, but that the taxpayer's money as church welfare is still flowing to them.

I disagree with you about the RW Christians versus other Christians. The religion itself is about hierarchy and thus it's all about control.

It took me until I was 23 before I understood the scam and the control. Sadly the Church has become very RW and collaborates with the radical fundamentalists now.

These fundamentalist RW religions have largely adopted the most conservative views of the Catholic church on cultural issues dogmatically. The Church has always been very prohibitive of ALL contraception of any kind or means. and view gay activity as grievous sin. The Church totally forbids sex outside of marriage and divorce or remarriage after divorce. In the Church's lexicon outside of annulment where there has never been sex marriage is insoluble. If your marriage fails and you separate you are expected to be celibate for the rest of your life and NEVER are allowed to remarry.
