Police union chief calls killing of 12-year-old justified (Original Post) UglyGreed Dec 2014 OP

Are these guys all Deputy Barney Fife, or what?

Maybe we should quit hiring quisling cowards and giving them guns?

USA PATRIOT Act must've secretly federalized and immunized the police, seeing how they now get away with murder.

This is at least the second PD union rep, the other being NYPD, who have made asinine, infuriating statements criticizing protesters and anyone who speaks up.

I support unions. Certainly I'm aware that any organization can be corrupted by money, power, whatever, and that just because someone represents a union doesn't make them right, or even necessarily representing the majority of the union members in their statements.

But if these guys are truly representative of police unions, I'd like to understand the purpose of police unions these days because it doesn't seem to be comparable to other labor unions as far as purpose.

Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks.

Who was more respectful and impressive in that video ?

Who sounded more reasonable ?

Which person would you feel the safest around ?

Who in the video had an agenda ?

Who in the video seemed genuinely concerned about the actions of the police ?

It took a despicable arrogance and air of superiority to go on national TV and sit there with a straight face and defend the assassination of a 12 year old boy.

I am a 61 year old white female.

I am sick of these white men with their shaved heads and Nazi techniques terrorizing this nation.

They are cowards.

When the shit hits the fan the only people they will protect will be themselves.

previous job and the current bosses who hired him, claim they were not sure if they were aware of his 'history'.

So, either they liked the fact that he was forced out because of his instability or they were so incompetent they armed someone whose history shows he never should have been given that kind of power. Either way, it was a fatal decision for a 12 year old child and his family.

He told them he had worked at another police force but they didn't bother to do a background check on him.

He feel asleep during firearms training.

He was emotional and cried frequently.

No one that fits this description should be policing anyone.

That beautiful little boy is dead and those bastards should be prosecuted.

no matter how much time they might give, and recommended he be terminated from the department.

They gave him a choice, be fired or resign. So he resigned.

And in their wisdom, the Cleveland PD hired him.

He's full of shit and out of touch.
