...er, wait. better scratch that last part.
Oh, Jeb...you're the tonic our ailing nation NEEDS!
The best past was when the news talking head said the part about how he's going to work with the beliefs of others and not try to "change" them...because that's working so well right now, isn't it?
Sound bites from the morning news so no link.

(31,823 posts)But its the only way to get on the short list for VP pick. I don't think they are going to reach from the house this time or pick a complete unknown.
They added nothing to the 2008 and 2012 ticket.
I don't believe he will win the nomination. I think he's too far behind Walker and Pataki on the fund raising - and I don't see Rove getting behind him or being welcome . . . considering some comments he (Rove) just made about Bush.
ETA - another DU'er posted some tidbits from MarketWatch.com . . . Ted Cruz would do better at getting the 'take our country back' crowd than Bush. And they will be out full force in Iowa and NH.

(32,886 posts)He loses Iowa big, Iowa GOP caucus goers tend to be VERY conservative, he has a shot in New Hampshire but I don't think he wins there either, NH GOP tend towards Libertarianism and Rand takes votes from him there, in the Feb 2 contests, Minnesota, Utah, Missouri and Colorado, he gets blown out in Missouri and Utah and I dont think does well in Colorado, they like the New Hampshire republicans tend to be Libertarian. He then has Nevada and the Carolinas ahead of him. He has a shot in Nevada and then gets blown out in the Carolinas and he is done, if not before.
