"We" complain about unjust verdicts ... yet so many people do their best to avoid jury duty .... it sucks, I grumble too .... BE PROUD that you are doing it.

The county I live in actually tries very hard to make it as pleasant as possible.

If the guy has several DUI's and killed somebody, you would vote not guilty?

That's precisely what the presumption of innocence is.

Unless and until you are convinced that the state has proven the defendant's guilt, you must presume his innocence and vote not guilty.

That's much easier to do when you haven't heard a thing.

I think they didn't like the fact that I didn't trust all cops. I was just being truthful.
