I believe they want to actually nuke something even more than Netanyahu does, and that is saying something.
And - they may be insane, but they are not bumbling or stupid.

I was working in Tokyo in the '90's and one day the big news was that North Korea had released a bunch of balloons with baskets, so that they made it to Japan. Nothing in the baskets, but the gesture meant, I was told, that they were saying see, we can send anything we want over to Japan.
