Obama calls into radio interview with Gov. Deval Patrick. Funny as hell. (Original Post) graywarrior Dec 2014 OP

a difficult job well done, as well as could be done in the face of inheriting such terrible circumstances and a terrible media and broken, mindlessly blockading GOP?

I praise the President, I got my reasons. Faint it may be, I am good with just that.

not brainwashed by their chosen media, or Dick Cheney.

How long do you think they can all keep up the fiction of hating the man the rest of the world would stage revolutions to have as their own leader? How long to sustain this fiction of the flat Earth GOP, led by no one, having equal credibility and positions and equal debate time as the round Earthers, led by Obama?

I know that you know who "they" are.

In hindsight we know that Carter was a very good president and right about a lot of things. That is what we are going to find out about President Obama.

has accomplished so much. That is just a fact. This president has been disrespected, vebally abused and obstructed like no other and has still accomplished more.

No president has ever succeeded at everything he set out to do. I don't remember a single one keeping all their campaign "promises". The idea that any president even could is preposterous. Besides, these "promises" are, in fact, ambitions - the president's desire and willingness to work for something. Not until this president has every presidential ambition, not fulfilled, become a broken promise, or worse, a lie.

Obama gets shit on, but he's done so much, with the Congress he was handed, that it's a fucking joke the belittling bullshit he gets thrown at him on a daily basis.

"Smart guy" "so well spoken"
My friend doesn't understand why American public votes for Republicans. "Rest of the world thinks highly of Obama, it's only here that people talk badly of him, what is wrong with American public?"

I always point out that it's corporate money driving elections, not "the American people", and greed driving bad policy, not public stupidity. Changes to pensions, banking rule relaxation that got stuffed into Cromnibus -- public didn't want that or vote for that; corporations had those things added to the bill.

A job well done, indeed, Fred! I'm with you 100%. The man is above the fray. How he does it and remains presidential in the face of the constant unwarranted hating is beyond me. He's a super man who deserves heaps of praise (see signature below). I am confident that history will judge him likewise.
