they were taken away to get customers used to going to the machine instead of inside the bank.

I said they were completely dehumanizing the experiences and the processes people were accustomed to and the elites lining their pockets with what used to be the paychecks of working class employees shouldn't complain when people en masse start acting less than human in response.

If they would stop charging to depositing checks through a phone I would use their app.

and bill paying are encouraged. Even small companies and non profits are relying on online/digital communication- stores, retail, charities, real estate agents, accountants and lawyers. Car service and hair salon places even prefer appointments made online. No human staff for buildings, offices or to handle phone lines cuts major costs.
Robotic software does the work, it's AI-artificial intelligence- that's increased tremendously in the last few years. If human staff is used more and more it's in overseas low wage places like India and the Philippines where people speak decent English. This is more and more the case with corporations, banks, medical services and govt. agencies. I find it very anti-human, and causing mass job evisceration.

I presently cannot access my bank through internet due to a likely phishing issue. It made the decision for me to never use my computer for banking and I can't even figure out how to fix the problem without spending money I don't have.

Also - there is a whole generation of people who are not comfortable with computer use and will go elsewhere. These are the people with lots of cash in the bank too. We are an unassuming community with lots of retired folks. It is also an area that has the highest $$ in bank savings in the state of Washington.

Idiots.
