Rand Paul clashes with Marco Rubio over Cuba

Get your popcorn: Rand Paul and Marco Rubio are bickering over U.S. policy on Cuba.

Paul, the Kentucky senator who believes opening Cuba “is probably a good idea,” took to Twitter and Facebook on Friday to blast Rubio. The Florida senator has been outspoken in his criticism of the Obama administration’s moves toward normalizing relations with the Communist-led nation.

Both Republicans are considering running for president in 2016, which makes this intra-party brawl worth watching.

Rubio proclaimed in a Fox News interview that Paul is “clueless” when it comes to understanding what’s going on in Cuba and why it’s a big mistake to soften a hard-line stance against the Castro regime. “Like many people that have been opining, he has no idea what he’s talking about,” Rubio said Thursday during his TV interview.
