https://celebrity.yahoo.com/blogs/celeb-news/james-woods-rips-into--pig--al-sharpton-over-nypd-slaying-235212179.htmlThe 67-year-old actor returned to Twitter this week after a three-month hiatus to express his disgust for the aforementioned men. The blood of officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu is on the hands of race hucksters Sharpton and de Blasio, Woods tweeted on Sunday. He's been on a blame-spree ever since.
Beneath a photograph of Sharpton, Woods retweeted: "This disgusting pig is DIRECTLY responsible for the murder of two good policemen. No discussion."

(17,656 posts)It's really pathetic when people like Woods make such outlandish comments like this, thinking that somehow they are helping to solve the problem, rather than just heaping more wood on the fire.
I guess after Woods doesn't snag any more juicy parts to be in any movies in the next 2 years, he'll pull a "Kelsey Grammer", and claim that all of Hollywood is against him now, simply because he came out of the closet and let people know that he is a Republican.
Yet, it is this level of racist horseshit that is the reason why losers like Woods shouldn't even have access to the internet.

(15,036 posts)He's been a rabid conservative his entire life, yet has remained steadily employed since his first film roles in the early '70s. Nominated for dozens of awards, including two Oscars, he's snagged a number of them and on the way created some of the more memorable roles in Hollywood history.
I suspect Kelsey Grammer's difficulties lie more in the weakness of his talent than they do the "strength of his convictions" or his political leanings.
Woods is an incredibly brilliant individual, though you'd never know it from his public utterances. He has an IQ said to be over 180. He scored an 800 on his verbal SATs, and a 779 on the math portion. He attended MIT on a full scholarship. He majored there in political science. He dropped out his senior year, to pursue a career in acting.
So as we can see, intelligence is no barrier to dumb thoughts.

(45,319 posts)14 Emmy nominations covering 4 different shows. He won 5 of them. 3 Golden Globes out of 9 nominations. 11 years of Frazier, 9 years of Cheers. Worth at least 50 million dollars, at least.
One of the most highly paid, most lauded performers of his or any other time. He whined that he did not get a 15th Emmy nomination for his most recent show, but he did in fact win the Golden Globe for that show the following years....

(7,570 posts)I think it was James Randi who said that really smart people are relatively easy to delude, because they refuse to believe that they can be fooled. ANYONE can be fooled.
As a former member of Mensa, I can attest that I heard some of the wackiest shit that I ever heard in my life coming from those people. And they utterly believed all of it.

(2,969 posts)Eastwood, Madsen, even 50 Cent is a fucking Republican. The guy who played Jayne Cobb in Firefly (Stephen Baldwin) tweets deranged conspiracy theories about the President.

(7,570 posts)Or he was, anyway. At least, before that bizarre interlude with the chair at the RNC.
At any rate, I don't think he's on board with the crazy anti-science, anti-gay, anti-choice, etc., bullshit that makes up most of the modern Republican party. I think he just wants his taxes lowered.

(16,184 posts)Libertarian, sure, but not the born again lunatic that is Stephen Baldwin.
Then again, I'm not on twitter, so if he's been tweeting things like that, I haven't seen it.

(12,151 posts)Different flavor of nut from Stephen-of-the-Baldwins-Baldwin, but still a right-winger.

He also has the dubious distinction of coining the #gamergate hashtag and considers himself a warrior against the Bad Old Liberal Media, blah, blah.

He's quite the idiot. He's just an actor, but it's sad seeing a member of the Firefly crew spew insanity.

Racist mother fuckers. These phrases, even when they are couched with shaming the black community are not intended for black people. They are to rile up the last vestige of the republican party - old white men.

(919 posts)I just was reading how Woods is saying that although he doesn't want a gun, Obama's latest comments made him feel like he HAS to buy one. WTF? If you are a person who follows the procedure in purchasing a gun, you get a gun. If you are honest and a decent human being, why is this waiting period so difficult for you to understand. As Homer Simpson said, "But I'm mad now!"
