Clearly a racist double standard. As a white person who was thrilled when Obama won, thinking we had turned a corner, I now realize the 'corner' was also a tipping point for some. The racists who have walked among us silently since the sixties, supremely self satisfied that even if the law said blacks were equal it didn't matter, cuz they knew better. Now with a black family in the White House, and the rising tide of brown skinned Americans they were terrified. White power groups, kkk, and militias grew, as did anti govt sentiment. Tea party cared not a whit until a black man was prez. Two wars on the credit card, rising debt was patriotic with a white prez.

The story of this OP needs to be spread far and wide. Wake up the silent majority, because I refuse to believe these racists represent the views of most white Americans!
