So now if we're against the cops killing unarmed civilians without cause,

it means that we hate the police in every circumstance?

Is that why there were so many people at the slain officer's funeral today in NYC? Is it because they think they have something to prove? Did the last police officer killed in the line of duty get the Vice President at their funeral? It smells a little funny to me.

So now the police are pushing their "us versus them" argument and their "think blue line between civility and anarchy" more than ever because they feel defensive after what the majority of people thought were indictable murders of citizens.

You wanna hear something weird, I'm against extra-judicial killings by police and I'm against people killing cops without cause. I'm a human being and capable of being against all non-justifiable murder.

I really hope the cops dial back this siege mentality before it leads to even more murder by cops and of cops. The last thing we need is a full fledged race war started by police who feel they are under attack.

(file this rant under: I'm sick of seeing people in social media changing their avatars to Thin Blue Lines and police shields. You are not under attack, there is no war)

They need to be reminded they are employees of all the citizens . . . even the unarmed ones they murder.

They are using every way to divide people. Fox "News" and the right wing media has been fanning the flames for years now.

Without this turmoil they have created they fear both sides will recognize the true enemy.

It is very important that the people understand why they are doing this.

They are politicizing a crime. That dude had 19 felonies yet was able to buy a gun. Who sold that guy a gun and why aren't they in jail? This crime has nothing to do with the fact that several unarmed innocent dark skeined men have recently been murdered by police who face zero consequences. It has nothing to do with the fact that dark skinned people are under attack every day in NYC as a policy. Nothing to do with the fact that the NYPD attacked peaceful protesters on many occasions as a policy.
Its bullshit, it a political ploy to demonize poor people. It the NYPD having a pitty party for the NYPD.
Its a Crock of sht.
