As much as I enjoyed the Harry Potter series, I always recognized it as a work of fiction. Reality doesn't work the same, sadly.

I occasionally thought of Bush as "Humperdinck" and Cheney as Vizzini."

Too bad the real world had no Westly/Dread Pirate Roberts

Vizzini and the Albino as Rove, but this from the past is priceless:

George Bush is Prince Humperdinck.

Before 9/11: Osama, you know how much I love watching you work. But I've got my country's 2nd Iraq war plan, my re-election to rig, my countrymen to murder, and Iraq to frame for it. I'm swamped.

About Iraq: The WMDs are there, or were an hour ago. If they are otherwise when I invade, I shall be very put out.

About politics: I always think everything is political. Which is why I'm still in office.

To Democrats: I. Would. Not. Say. Such. Things. If. I. Were. You!

And if nominated, she would be the first Woman and first witch nominated for the office, two historical firsts.

And, she could run ads, smiling and winking, and saying, "I am a witch."

I think wiggling her nose like Samantha would be a bit too much.

to be sorted into Gryffindor house.

"You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart"

I can see some in Ravenclaw.
"Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
If you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind."

Most of any party likely in Slytherin.
"Or perhaps in Slytherin,
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folk use any means,
To achieve their ends."

and none in Hufflepuff.
"You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true,
And unafraid of toil"
