As someone who has enjoyed sports since a very young age, I have spent the last 20 years watching him on ESPN. Besides being a great sportscaster, he was also by all accounts a great human being who had to deal with some tough times in his final years.

At least he didn't have to witness that pass interference reversal in the detroit/dallas game
