This is just strange, especially after it was moved and rebuilt.

(13,603 posts)This is obviously a hoax. The same person wrote all the graffiti. But, then, that wouldn't be as enticing as "Sex altar" or, as promoted by KQRE, a "disturbing discovery." At least the cops were courteous enough not to embarrass the "reporter" on camera.

(16,191 posts)When I was a kid, there was an abandoned farm pumphouse that a lot of local teens used as a hangout not far from our high school. Someone had dragged a couple of couches in there, and there was everything from porn to bras stapled to the wall. I couldn't even guess how much sex happened in there (I'm sure that more than one person is walking around the Earth today after being "created" in that pumphouse). I never had sex there, but I smoked SO much weed in that little room. Eventually the farmer who owned the land found out about it and knocked the whole thing down.
My guess is that these buildings were the "pumphouse" for the teens in that area.

(861 posts)serial killers have been known to collect trophies like this. I'm not convinced it was just some harmless teens.
I don't think teens would be writing sick stories about rape and incest on the walls for one thing, unless they were satanists or something.

The sex stuff? Big deal.

(14,040 posts)This is nothing... I was in a place last year that was obviously a squat for a severely paranoid, possibly schizophrenic, person and his writings were disturbing. He was obsessed with MK Ultra.
With all the exploring my friends and I do, we often comment that one day we'll happen across something that we won't want to and then we joke about which one of us will be the first one to photograph it.
