And I don't know any rational person who would want them any earlier than that.

The Brits have national elections on a couple months notice. In only the USA do national elections take up a permanent status. This is one of the major problems with our political system here. We cannot get anything done because there is never-ending political warfare, never-ending presidential campaigns.

It is mindless and silly to do it this way.

I don't give a fuck who is running or not running in 2016 at this time. We will find out next year. And the debates will happen in autumn 2016, just before the election.

It did not seem to help the GOP much. Only they thought a state of permanent national campaigning was a good thing. Regretfully there are many Dems who think the same.
