NYPD Keep up the good work!

Why NYPD Work Slowdown May Not Be Such A Bad Thing

Maybe minority communities will finally get a break from over-policing.

Have the talked themselves into major cuts in that Police Department?

Let's hope so. The taxes saved on their salaries will make up for their other sources of income, unnecessary (their word) arrests and fines.

to finance these city budgets. There was an investigation supposed to be going on about issues related to this. Don't know what happened to it.

But any shortfall from returning to only making necessary arrests, can be made up by reducing the size of the force. Clearly all they were doing was raising revenue, anyone can do that. And at the same time, violating people's rights.

There should be a full investigation of the budget and of this unconstitutional practice.

And that is why they hate de Blasio, he ran on reforming the NYPD and won.
